Now Hiring - Truck Equipment Cost Estimator in Fresno, CA

PB Loader Corporation/American Grape Harvesters, a leading manufacturer of Truck-Mounted Loaders, Grape Harvesters, and related equipment, seeks a talented and customer-oriented Cost Estimator to join its dynamic team in Fresno, California. This position will be responsible for the development of quotations on various products while collaborating with outside/inside sales, engineering, production team to ensuring outstanding customer service. This position must ensure the company’s safety and personnel policies are adhered to while contributing to an environment focused on teamwork and professionalism.

Essential Duties include, but are not limited to:

· Keep current of new products, trends and market cost and pricing

· Collaborates with sales and vendors during the proposal process

· Correlates all cost, sell and specification information within timeframe of bid date, recommending margins.

· Ensure proposals are priced timely, completely, and accurately; allotting time to conduct an internal review.

· Acquires pricing from vendors, verifies whether it is competitive and complete.

· Identifies alternative product options that align with customer requirements.

· Maintains current and organized project files to facilitate smooth transition of project file to work order writer.

· Build and maintain pricing measurements for decision making processes

· Gather required data for quote preparation

· Download required specs, plans take-off, etc.

· Maintain and update product cost budgets

The desired candidate will possess these qualifications:

· Possess a valid California driver’s license.

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Bachelor’s degree in business management and/or industrial technology, or minimum of 5 years of full-time industrial experience

· Ability to establish and maintain rapport with diverse population

· Highly organized and driven to meet deadlines

· Customer service and detail oriented

· Dependability in attendance and work ethic
